2016

BCA Green Mark Platinum Award

29 January 2016 - Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 3 has been awarded the BCA Green Mark Platinum Award, in recognition of its best practices in environmental design and construction, and the adoption of green building technologies. This is the highest honour in BCA’s Green Mark scheme.

The building’s low-emissivity glass minimises heat load and thermal transfer. Its energy efficient air-conditioning system and lighting contributes to 23% energy savings for the whole building. The use of motion sensors, energy saving lifts and escalators also reduces energy consumption.

Water leak detection systems minimise water wastage, and condensate water from the air-conditioning system is recycled for use in fountains, irrigation and cleaning. Tenants also contribute to reducing the carbon footprint through recycling waste such as light tubes and working towards obtaining Green Mark certification for their offices.






2015

BCA Green Mark Pearl Award

May 2015 - Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 3 won the BCA Green Mark Pearl Award. The award recognises the strong commitment of developers/building owners/landlords and tenants of the same project/building working in tandem to achieve greater environmental sustainability for their project/building.






Water Efficient Building (GOLD) Certification

October 2015 - Ongoing efforts by Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) to maximise water efficiency were recognised when MBFC Towers 1, 2 and 3 were awarded the Water Efficient Building (Gold) Certification by the PUB.

A number of water efficient features and measures have been implemented throughout the three towers and Marina Bay Link Mall, the retail component of MBFC. They include water-efficient fittings installed in all toilets, water leak detection and monitoring systems, and signs with contact information displayed in all toilets to enable timely reporting and repair of leaks or faulty fittings.

In addition, at MBFC Tower 3, the condensate water from the air-conditioning system is recycled for use in fountains, irrigation and cleaning, contributing to the saving of about 3,000 cubic metres of water annually.






Workplace Safety and Health Performance Award (Silver)

July 2015 - Raffles Quay Asset Management (RQAM) received the silver award in the annual Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Awards. Presented by the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council and supported by the Ministry of Manpower, the award recognises organisations and individuals who have contributed to achieving excellence in workplace safety and health.






Safety and Health Award Recognition for Projects

July 2015 - One Raffles Quay and Marina Bay Financial Centre received the Safety and Health Award Recognition for Projects (SHARP). The SHARP Award recognises projects or worksites that have good safety and health performance and workplace safety and health management systems. This include large-scale projects that mobilise significant manpower and have shown their ability to manage WSH on a project-level.






FIABCI Prix d’Execellence Awards

May 2015 - Marina Bay Suites (MBS) has won the Silver award in the Residential (High Rise) category of the World FIBACI Prix d’Excellence Awards 2015. The FIABCI Prix d’Excellence is the most prestigious international real estate award that recognises distinctive projects for their excellence in overall concept, architecture and design, development and construction, community benefit as well as environmental impact.






SG50 Special Award

November 2015 - In celebration of Singapore’s 50th birthday, FIABCI Singapore presented SG50 Special Awards to the best entry submitted since the launch of FIABCI Singapore Property Awards in June 2011. Marina Bay Financial Centre Phase 1 was one of the recipients of the SG50 Special Award.






2014

FIABCI Singapore Property Awards

15 July 2014 - Marina Bay Suites won the Singapore Property Awards 2014 in the Residential (High Rise) Category. A precursor to FIABCI Prix d’Excellence, FIABCI Singapore Property Awards was introduced to recognise achievements of Singapore’s real estate projects and developments as well as to promote Singapore’s excellence in design and architecture.






Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Awards 2014

July 2014 - The annual Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Awards recognise organisations that have achieved excellence in workplace safety and health performance. Presented by the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council and supported by the Ministry of Manpower, the national awards include WSH Performance Awards and Safety and Health Award Recognition for Projects (SHARP).

Raffles Quay Asset Management (RQAM) was awarded the WSH Performance Awards two years in a row (2013 and 2014) as it recognises companies or organisations that have performed well in safety and health through the implementation of sound safety and health management systems.

Both One Raffles Quay (ORQ) and Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) were awarded the Safety and Health Award Recognition for Projects (SHARP) Award two years in a row (2013 and 2014). This award recognises projects or worksites that have good safety and health performance and workplace safety and health management systems. This includes large-scale projects that mobilise significant manpower and have shown their ability to manage WSH on a project-level.







Water Efficient Building (GOLD/SILVER) Certification 2014

July 2014 - The Water Efficient Building (Gold/Silver) certification was introduced in March 2013 to recognise water users who adopt water efficiency management system and are exemplary performers in water efficiency.  With the objective of enabling an organisation to take a systematic approach to achieve continual improvement of water efficient and develop and implement water saving measures, One Raffles Quay (ORQ) was conferred PUB Water Efficient Building (Silver) certificate for the efforts.






Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Green Mark Award

22 May 2014 – Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) (Phase 1) won the Green Mark Gold Award, BCA Green Mark for Buildings for the second time. The award recognises buildings which incorporate internationally recognised best practices in environmental design and performance. The first time it was awarded was in 2008.






BCA Construction Excellence Award

22 May 2014 – Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) (Phase 2) Commercial – Tower 3 won the BCA Construction Excellence Award in the Commercial Mixed Development category. The award recognises construction projects that have demonstrated the highest standards of construction excellence in Singapore.






BCA Design and Engineering Safety Excellence Award

22 May 2014 – Marina Bay Suites (MBS) won the BCA Design and Engineering Safety Excellence Award in the Residential category. The award recognises efforts in overcoming various challenges to achieve safety and excellence in design and engineering works.






2013

Southeast Asia Property Awards

31 October 2013 – Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) and Marina Bay Suites (MBS) clinched top honours at the annual South East Asia (SEA) Property Awards.

MBS was awarded Best Condominium Development in Singapore and South East Asia, while MBFC was named Best Commercial Development in South East Asia. The awards celebrate the best in the region’s property sector, recognising outstanding achievements in construction, architecture, interior design and property management services.






2012

FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards

16 May 2012 – Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC), Singapore’s largest mixed-use development in the new downtown, clinched the top award in the Office category at the FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards 2012, which recognises the world’s outstanding real estate developments. Marina Bay Residences (MBR), the residential project in Phase 1 of MBFC, was runner-up in the Residential (High Rise) category.







BizSAFE Star Certification

10 September 2012 - For its excellent Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Management System, Raffles Quay Asset Management (RQAM) was one of the first few organisations in the Singapore facilities management industry to be awarded BizSAFE Star certification by Singapore’s WSH Council.







2011

FIABCI Singapore Property Awards

11 October 2011 – Marina Bay Residences (MBR) and Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) Phase 1 were named winners in the Residential (High Rise) and Office Categories respectively at the inaugural FIABCI Singapore Property Awards.






MIPIM Asia Awards

17 November 2011 – Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) clinched the Gold award for the mixed-use category in the MIPIM Asia Awards 2011, which honours outstanding real estate projects in the Asia Pacific region. MBFC also won the Participants’ Choice Award, which honours the project that receives the most delegate votes.




BCA Design and Engineering Safety Excellence Award

19 May 2011 – Both the Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) Residential (Phase 1) and MBFC Commercial (Phase 1) were conferred with the Merit Award for the Design and Engineering Safety Excellence Awards 2011 by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).




ISO 14001

16 December 2011 – Raffles Quay Asset Management (RQAM) received the ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management system, which encompasses energy efficient lighting, water-saving systems and the use of recycled materials in its offices.




OHSAS 18001

23 December 2011 – Raffles Quay Asset Management (RQAM) received the OHSAS 18001 certification for its integration of an effective risk management system that minimises work-related accidents.







2009

Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Awards

27 May 2009 – One Raffles Quay (ORQ) and Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) won accolades for their achievements towards environmental sustainability under the Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Green Mark awards.

2008

FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards

29 May 2008 – One Raffles Quay (ORQ) was awarded the prestigious Prix d’Excellence in the ‘Office’ category by The International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI). Considered to be the ‘Oscars’ within the real-estate industry, the award recognises ORQ for embodying excellence in all aspects of development including construction, leasing, facilities management, marketing strategy and contribution to the local community and environment.







BCA Design Engineering and Safety Excellence Award

22 May 2008 – One Raffles Quay (ORQ) was a merit recipient in the inaugural Design Engineering and Safety Excellence Award for successfully addressing the many technical and safety challenges in the construction, given the location of its North Tower directly above the North-South MRT Line.




2007

Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Awards

17 May 2007 – Marina Bay Residences (MBR) was conferred a Green Mark Gold award by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) for incorporating green building features in its construction.
