Lucky Winners of Annual Survey 2011

Raffles Quay Asset Management (RQAM) has just completed the annual tenant survey that aims to assess the management’s service standards. Survey responses from participating tenants at One Raffles Quay were entered into a lucky draw to win a total of $500 Marina Bay Link Mall vouchers.

Drawn on 14 March 2011, the winners of the draw are Henry Huang from Gibson Dunn Crutcher LLP and Helen Tham from Raiffeisen Bank International AG.

Earth Hour

On 26 March 2011, cities worldwide turned off their lights for an hour in support of Earth Hour, a concerted fight against global warming.

As part of Earth Hour celebrations in Singapore, One Raffles Quay and Marina Bay Financial Centre pledged its support for the environment by switching off non-essential lighting across building facade and public areas, while ensuring that the security and safety of tenants were not compromised. Tenants were encouraged to participate in this initiative by switching off non-essential electrical lightings and computer monitors, in support of this bid to create awareness of global warming.

Spotlight: RQAM Asset Management Team

Raffles Quay Asset Management’s (RQAM) Asset Management team plays an integral role in managing and supporting the tenants at One Raffles Quay (ORQ) and Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC). Consisting of Director William Bright, Asset Manager Janet Soh, Lease Analyst Amanda Yeo and Secretary Ferra Pruwita, the team handles all matters pertaining to rental, lease renewals and managing the portfolio of tenants.

The fundamental role of the department is to manage the revenue and expenditure of the portfolio to ensure it meets the expectations of shareholders. An important aspect of that is to ensure that the portfolio’s occupancy is kept high. The team carries out all lease renewals and rent reviews. It also maintains close relationships with tenants over the course of the lease and subsequent renewals. In addition, the team manages the costs of running the portfolio and works closely with the Facilities Management department.

The Asset Management team always maintains an open dialogue with tenants in order to understand the issues that they face and provide the best support possible. This active approach ensures that tenants’ issues are resolved promptly and professionally. Director William Bright has lived in Singapore for the past decade. His over 20 years of expertise in real estate comprises a rich experience in portfolio management, valuation, agency and corporate real estate.
