More vibrancy in Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 2

Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) Tower 2 is gradually coming to life as tenants moved in progressively over the last few months. Most of the tenants at MBFC have already settled into their offices including American Express, Barclays Capital Services, BHP Billiton, Macquarie Capital Securities, Nomura, Prudential and Servcorp. Raffles Quay Asset Management (RQAM), the Asset Manager of MBFC, is expecting more tenants to move into the new office building and looks forward to a more vibrant community in this prestigious business and financial hub.

Servcorp Expands into Marina Bay Financial Centre

Serviced and virtual office space provider Servcorp has now expanded to its third and flagship location at Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC), where it occupies Level 39 of the 50-storey Tower 2. Servcorp makes office space and virtual offices available for companies of any size to operate with the corporate presence, IT, infrastructure and support of a multi-national organisation, without having the associated overheads required to do so.

Servcorp’s General Manager of South-East Asia Susie Martin said MBFC provides an opportunity for Servcorp to meet the demand for premium services it offers. “It is undoubtedly one of the best business addresses in the region; MBFC is a vibrant and bustling development of office, retail and residential space that connects to amazing facilities and amenities around Marina Bay,” she added.

American Express moves to Marina Bay

American Express moved into Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) Tower 2 on 25 February 2011 in the final phase of its relocation plan, part of the company's strategy to consolidate its offices into two new modern buildings. American Express now occupies an entire level in MBFC Tower 2 and three levels in Mapletree Business City.

The design vision for both offices is identical and translates into a flexible, enabled and premium workplace for the present and future. This reflects American Express’ premium brand and attracts and retains talent. There are many locally inspired design features in the offices including colourful glass panels reflecting bright conserved shophouses, leaf motif steel structures and graphics, plants reflecting Singapore as a garden city and Peranakan-inspired symbols. American Express’ office at MBFC has been awarded the Green Mark Gold status for engineering design and environmental sustainability. It has also won the prestigious Asia Pacific Property Awards for Office Interiors.

Sixty per cent of the office space is dedicated to individual workspace. The remaining forty per cent is dedicated to shared spaces which not only include meeting, conference and café areas, but also a shared flexible work loft that enables locally-based acquisition and relationship team members and visitors to work, meet and collaborate. The new flexible work features allow staff to choose how and where they work.
