DBS's Official Opening

DBS Bank underscored its commitment to be the Asian bank of choice with the inauguration of its new headquarters at Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) Tower 3 on 17 October 2012, officiated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam, DBS Chairman Peter Seah and DBS Group CEO Piyush Gupta.

DBS' office houses the bank's customer-facing units, an innovative flagship branch, a state-of-the-art dealing room, the first DBS Treasures Private Client Centre and a refreshing work environment for its employees.

Customers visiting DBS' flagship branch can optimise their time with the option to pre-complete electronic forms, conduct self-service transactions or access DBS' products or Asia insights via iPads provided in the banking hall. More in-depth customer engagement takes place at the ergonomically designed Consultation Pods.

Other key features of the branch include an interactive MicroTile wall at its entrance - the first in Asia that provides customers with interactive access to information; social hubs at the heart of each floor where staff can connect and share ideas over a cup of DBS Brew, and a Social Enterprise Exchange that showcases the bank's support for social enterprises.

Mead Johnson Nutrition

A global leader in pediatric nutrition, Mead Johnson Nutrition (MJN) celebrated the opening of its new Asia Pacific headquarters at MBFC Tower 3 on 17 September 2012.

Speaking at the opening, Tim Brown, Senior Vice President and General Manager of South Asia, said, "The launch of the regional office in Singapore marks a new level of connection and engagement with Asia, which is crucial as we further expand our business in the region. It gives me great pleasure to welcome our new and existing employees to our new home in MBFC as we continue our company mission to nourish the children of Singapore, Asia and the world – for the best start in life."

Each MJN office design is linked to the company's core Life mission and the Singapore office design reflects "water as life". Natural living elements, greenery, timber, natural stone, river motifs, a flowing sculpture wall, and photos of children interacting with water in their everyday lives have been thoughtfully incorporated by designer, M Moser Associates, into the workspaces to express the strong link between water, nature and life. A state-of-the-art nursing room and a sculpture shows the heart of the design: a mother's bond to a child.

MJN has been associated with science-based pediatric nutrition products for over 100 years. The company's "Enfa" family of brands, including Enfalac (R) infant formula, is the world's leading brand franchise in pediatric nutrition. Mead Johnson's mission is to nourish the world's children for the best start in life. For more information, visit

MBFC has also recently secured new leases at Tower 3. New tenants, Denmark based LEGO Singapore Pte. Ltd., and leading New York based international legal firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, bring the overall commitment level to 76% at close to 960,000 sq ft.
